At The End Of Life's Road

At The End Of Life’s Road
At the end of life’s road
We’ve a glorious hope;
It’s the dream of a soul set free.
A promise made by Jesus, our Lord,
A promise to you and to me.

O yes, we’ve a promise
That with Him we will be;
We’ ll meet with Him face to face.
What sweet joy will fill us
When we’re reunited
Where He’s prepared us a place

When He died on the cross,
Paid the price for our sin,
Felt torn from the Father he loved,
He knew all the pain we soon would share
And rose then to vict’ry and life

O yes, we’ve a promise
That with Him we will be;
We’ ll meet with Him face to face.
What sweet joy will fill us
When we’re reunited
Where He’s prepared us a place

He waits with our Father
And will welcome us home
Where sin, pain, and want are no more;
We’ll bask in the warmth of His great love
And live close to Him evermore.

O yes, we’ve a promise
That with Him we will be;
We’ ll meet with Him face to face.
What sweet joy will fill us
When we’re reunited
Where He’s prepared us a place
